Transport Administrator
Location: Sittingbourne Full-Time | Start: 11th September
We are seeking a proactive and organised Transport Administrator to join our clients busy logistics team initially on a temporary basis. You'll play a key role in supporting transport operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with drivers and customers via phone and email
* Manage defect sheets, vehicle compliance, and driver infringements
* Upload and manage transport data using Safety Cloud and FTA Vision
* Coordinate inbound/outbound schedules and maintain driver manifests
* Ensure availability of consumables, PPE, and general supplies
* Support the Transport Manager with audits and compliance tasks
What We\'re Looking For (Qualifications)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally Opera or similar systems
* A problem solver who thrives under pressure and can multitask
* Knowledge of transport procedures and safety regulations
Desirable
Desirable: Previous experience in a transport or logistics admin role, however if you have excellent Administrative skills and experience you will be considered for this role.
Hours
The hours of work are 7.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday
