Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Sandiacare, Nottingham
Duration: 6 months FTC
Responsible to: Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Responsible for: Accurate and timely processing of purchase ledger invoices
Job Purpose: Ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Verifying and processing of ad hoc, monthly and annual purchase invoices and credit notes in the Finance System ready for payment
2. Resolving purchase invoice queries directly with other internal departments and suppliers via Teams, telephone, email or in person as appropriate
3. Daily ownership of the finance email inboxes
4. Supplier statement reconciliation
5. Inputting and Allocating payments
6. Dealing directly with supplier calls and emails
7. Maintenance of purchase ledger accounts
8. New account setup
9. Ad hoc work as assigned by the Financial Controller or Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
10. Prior experience in purchase ledger
11. Experience using Microsoft Business Central
12. Experience using a document capture system (preferably Continia)
13. Experience of Purchase to Pay (P2P)
14. Proficient with Excel
15. Confidence and ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders and suppliers
Desirable:
16. Experience in ConnectWise
