Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Bakery section. We’re seeking passionate individuals with a love for baking and a deep understanding of bakery products to deliver fresh perspectives every day. You will be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our delicious bakery products and ensure customers feel valued every time they shop with us.
Location: The Mall Cribbs Causeway, Patchway Bristol, United Kingdom, BS34 5QT
Notes: Interviews for this position will be held in the form of an assessment centre at the Cribbs Causeway Store rather than Bristol Cabot Circus. The £3.00 p/h unsocial premium applies only to hours worked between 22:00-06:00. You must be 18 years of age or older to comply with health and safety legislation.
Working pattern
Week 1: Sunday 07:00-12:00; Thursday 04:00-11:45; Friday 04:00-12:00. Week 2: Thursday 04:00-11:00; Friday 04:00-11:00; Saturday 04:00-11:00.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points.
* Keep the store clean and tidy and ensure shelves are stocked.
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities.
* Engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service.
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and promote our products and services.
* Utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer.

Requirements & Benefits
