Security Manager – London (Office/Operations Security support)
Lulworth Stone is a specialist security and risk-mitigation firm providing discreet, high-trust support to organisations whose work operates in sensitive and high-stakes areas of public life. Many of our clients are engaged in protecting fundamental freedoms, serving communities and advancing missions that require the highest levels of vigilance, integrity and professionalism.
Based in central London, this role sits at the heart of our Security & Operations function. You will work under the Office Manager and alongside a small, committed team. This is not a large-scale leadership position; rather, we are seeking someone who can independently hold the space of security oversight through methodical patience, precise reporting and thorough investigation, while maintaining calm authority when pressure mounts.
As signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, we are committed to providing meaningful opportunities to former members of the UK Armed Forces. Lulworth Stone is a veteran-owned company, and we place high value on the discipline, judgement and dedication that service life develops.
We are seeking service-orientated candidates who share our ethos of quiet vigilance, measured action and unwavering integrity. Candidates who understand the importance of standards and carry a calm, dependable presence will be well-suited to this role.
You will:
* Monitor, review and enhance office and site-security processes, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation and consistently high standards of accuracy.
* Work closely with the Office Manager to articulate security requirements (in writing and process terms) and translate strategy into operational reality.
* Serve as the “quiet sentinel” in the office: dependable, watchful, and able to work autonomously while remaining a team player.
* Respond with calm command when required (during incidents, escalations and oversight of CCTV/SIA-licensed teams).
* Bring a mindset of service, humility and commitment to excellence, stepping in and stepping up where need requires.
What We’re Looking For (The Essentials)
* Holds or is able to obtain an SIA licence (Door Supervisor / ACS). CCTV licence desirable.
* Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate security strategy into clear processes, documentation and reporting.
* Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and consistency, with no shortcuts.
* Highly reliable, disciplined in time-keeping, and comfortable operating in an environment where autonomy matters.
* Experience of structure, discipline and a service-mindset, paired with humility.
* Comfortable working within an environment shaped by a Christian ethos and values, including respect for faith, family and the principles that underpin the work of the organisation.
