As a Senior BA working within DWP Digital, you will: Work on large, complex, cross cutting products or services. Or, across a number of products or services simultaneously.Enabling the delivery of digital solutions to achieve strategic business outcomes. Lead workshops, interviews and focus groups to effectively understand business problems and user needs within large complex, cross cutting products or services. Collaborate with and communicate effectively across senior technical and business stakeholders, ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned to our established Digital roadmaps. Understand the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service whilst developing an understanding of how the product or service aligns with the wider strategy of the department. Lead BA activities and initiatives and will champion continual learning & development within the BA community. Be a leading member of the BA community, taking on leadership and line management responsibilities of BAs, where required. Additionally, you will play a significant role in capability building and recruitment when required. Encourage and promote DWP Digital delivery methodologies, setting standards across the function and working to educate the BA teams working across the functions on principles, methods and tools to support their development. Use your experience of delivery methodologies, translating business and user needs into deliverables working collaboratively to define and achieve value outcomes. Work with senior business, project or technical stakeholders and will facilitate the setting of project priorities in line with strategic and business goals. Be encouraged to continually grow your management capabilities and will support colleagues to take responsibility for their own learning and development in line with business needs and strategic direction. Hybrid Working This role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. Salary Information Pay for this role is from 57,946 to 68,205. Our offer to successful candidates will be based on an assessment of your skills and experience asdemonstratedat interview. Existing Civil Servants who gain promotion will move to the bottom of the grade pay scale or receive a 10% increase in salary, whichever is greater. Selection process details Stage 1: Application Your application will consist of three parts: 1. A Personal Details application form. 2. Employment history - this should contain your work experience and any skills, qualifications and accomplishments relevant to the jobs you have completed based on the essential criteria. 3. Stage 2: Interview If youre successful at sift stage you will be invited to a video interview via Microsoft Teams. There, you will be assessed against the experiences listed below: Significant experience of working at Senior BA level and leading business analysis activities within complex projects/environments. Significant experience of using a wide range of tools and techniques to identify improvements and make recommendations. Significant experience of supporting colleagues to take responsibility for their own learning and development. To help you prepare and settle into the interview you will be sent the interview questions in advance of the interview, at least 5 days prior to your interview. These questions should be treated as confidential and should not be shared. The interview panel may ask you other questions which will not be shared in advance, including follow-up questions, and those about your experience and abilities.
