PERSONAL ASSISTANT (ONE TO ONE ONLY)
11 HOURS PER WEEK – £12.60 PER HOUR.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – Morning or Afternoon.
Requirements: Childcare must be in place. Reference and DBS essential. Must have own car and full UK driving licence. Fuel allowance paid. Meals provided.
Overview
Provide personal support to a 34‑year‑old client with cerebral palsy, learning difficulties and balance issues. Assist with community visits, shopping, transport, and companionship, ensuring safety and adherence to accessibility needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Support to remain independent.
* Assist in all appointments and outings (cinema, bowling, arts and crafts, sports events, etc.).
* Provide companionship and reassurance during emergencies (e.g., fire alarms).
* Ensure safe travel: use of personal car, full UK licence, lift usage, no stairs or escalators.
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence.
* Own car.
* Reference and DBS clearance.
* Reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty.
* Comfortable with providing support to a person with cerebral palsy and learning difficulties.
