A prestigious independent school in Cambridge is seeking a Part-Time Admissions Officer to join their close-knit team.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective pupils and their families, delivering a warm, professional and informative admissions experience from enquiry through to enrolment. You'll provide efficient administrative support throughout the admissions process, and play a key role in welcoming new families into the school community.
Managing and responding to admissions enquiries
Guiding families through each step of the admissions process
Coordinating visits, interviews, and open events (including occasional Saturdays and evenings)
Maintaining accurate records on the school's CRM/database
Supporting wider school events and working collaboratively with other depart
A confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Experience in a similar admissions or customer service role, ideally within education
Strong administrative and IT skills; experience with a CRM/database is advantageous
Warm, friendly and professional approach when dealing with families and colleagues
Location: Cambridge
Hours: 30 hours per week, across 5 days
Salary: £24,000 (Pro Rata, FTE £30,000)
Contract: Permanent
