About The Role
These are exciting times at ARAG UK as we’ve been through a period of positive change and sustained growth across our friendly and high-performing teams. As a result, we are looking for someone to join us as a Data Protection Advisor in our Compliance team.
About the role:
The Data Protection Advisor shall assist the Data Protection and Compliance Assurance Manager in ensuring that the business remains complaint with its Data Protection obligations throughout the Group.
Their primary role shall be to provide administrative support to the unit to assist it functions in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and internal Data Protection Policies.
Data Protection Advisor shall be responsible for the completion of Data Subject Rights Requests, including Data Subject Access Requests and the maintenance of the Data Subject Rights Requests log.
About You
Essential
1. Basic understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation
Desirable
2. Experience in handling Data Subject Right requests
3. Evidence of effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
4. An ability to be organised in planning activities and assisting other to do so
5. Strong communication and relationship building skills
6. A tenacious and effective approach to exceeding targets (both individually and through a team).
7. Drives delivery when working with ambiguity and change.
