ALF Recruit are partnering with a growing, well-established business with operations across the UK and Europe to appoint a Group Accountant into their expanding finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant looking to step into a broader, more commercially focused role within a dynamic and supportive environment. The position offers exposure across group-level reporting, international operations, and strategic finance activities—ideal for someone keen to accelerate their progression.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function across multiple entities, working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to accurate reporting, compliance, and business insight.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting group month-end close and consolidation processes
* Preparation and review of management accounts across multiple entities
* Fixed asset accounting and reporting
* Group-wide foreign currency reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations including debtors, creditors, and stock
* Profit & Loss analysis, margin reporting, and variance analysis
* Cashflow reporting and bank reconciliations
* VAT reporting and compliance across jurisdictions
* Assisting with year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
* Driving improvements in financial processes and controls
* Providing financial insight to support business decision-making
About You
* Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA / CIMA
* Proven experience in a financial or management accounting role
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with a keen eye for detail
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
* Ability to work across multiple entities or currencies (desirable)
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
* Proactive mindset with a commercial and analytical approach
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
