An opportunity has arisen for an experienced receptionist to work in the specialised and rewarding area of the Pembrokeshire Haematology and Oncology Day Unit (PHODU) at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.
We are looking for motivated individuals with an awareness and sensitivity to the specific needsof this patient group. PHODU is a busy and challenging environment, where oncology and haematology patients are attending for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy and for clinic appointments. Excellent communication skills with a welcoming and courteous demeanour are essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
The successful Receptionist will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the service, providing a welcoming and efficient front of house, to patients and visitors attending or contacting the unit. The role will also involve carrying out administrative general duties.
This is a part time job, 22.5 hours per week, any day Monday to Thursday on a rota basis.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSEs, NVQ2) or equivalent demonstrable experience of administrative / office skills and knowledge
* English GCSE grade C or equivalent
