General Sales Manager – Basingstoke
Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 OTE

Pembrook Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership for an experienced General Sales Manager to lead their successful sales department in the Basingstoke area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take responsibility for the performance and development of a high-performing sales team.
The Role
As General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities

Managing and motivating the Sales Executive team to achieve and exceed targets

Overseeing the full vehicle sales process from enquiry through to delivery
*
Monitoring sales performance, KPIs, and profitability
*
Managing stock levels and vehicle ordering
*
Driving finance and insurance penetration within the sales department
*
Coaching and developing team members to maximise performance
*
Ensuring the dealership maintains high levels of customer satisfaction
*
Reporting on sales performance to senior management
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a General Sales Manager / Sales Manager within the motor trade
*
Strong leadership and team management skills
*
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Strong understanding of finance and insurance products
*
Full UK driving licence
