Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced systems support technician to join our busy ICT team at Mansfield District Council.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in providing support to end users and undertaking a wide range of duties including the investigation and resolution of technical hardware and software issues, configuration and deployment of desktop hardware and peripherals along with developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and asset registers.
Responsibilities
* Investigation and resolution of end user ICT issues and queries
* Configuration and deployment of desktop hardware and peripherals
* Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and asset registers
* Provide strong communication with users via telephone, email and face-to-face contact
What We're Looking For
* Experience in the investigation and resolution of end user ICT issues and queries
* Strong communication skills and a confident approach
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
* Keen interest in ICT and new technologies
