Role: Functional Assessor (Work Capability Assessment)
Location: Hastings (Hybrid – clinic + home-based working)
Salary: £41,612 (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: Full-time or part-time (3 or 4 days per week)

What you’ll be doing
* Conducting face-to-face, telephone, and video assessments
* Evaluating how health conditions impact daily function and work capability
* Reviewing medical evidence and producing clear, objective reports
* Supporting fair and evidence-based decisions for the DWP
* Working in a non-treatment, assessment-based role
️ Who we’re looking for
We welcome applications from:
* Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
* Physiotherapists
* Occupational Therapists
* Paramedics
You’ll also need:
* Active NMC or HCPC registration
* Minimum 12 months post-registration experience
* Strong communication and report-writing skills
* Confidence working independently and using IT systems
