Team Support Administration Officer
About the role
* Provide high-quality administrative and business support within the local authority
* Be an active member of the Pay and Reward project team
* Support appeals panels, meetings and engagement events, including minute taking and action tracking
* Act as a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries, resolving issues where possible
* Carry out data collation, straightforward analysis and reporting
* Complete financial administration tasks in line with agreed procedures
* Maintain accurate and confidential records and systems
* Support continuous improvement of administrative processes
What we’re looking for
* A Level qualification or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in an administrative or business support role
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using IT systems including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Calm, resilient and able to work to tight deadlines
* Self-motivated and able to use initiative
Working arrangements
* In-person attendance required one day per week (Tuesdays) in Bournemouth for team collaboration
Contract details
* Temporary contract until end of March, with possible extension
* 20 hours per week
* Working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons
