Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in a care home where all male residents reside .
The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the vulnerable adults in our care, this will include assistance for the daily care needs, social interaction and activities as well as assistance in a person centered manner.
This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. The Healthcare Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety while assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
* Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and treatment options.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as hospitals or clinics is preferred.
* Ability to work efficiently in emergency situations while maintaining composure.
* Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.

Pay: Up to £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
