Howmet Fastenings Sytems (HFS) is seeking a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Aerospace Manufacturing facility in Redditch, B98 7TD, United Kindom.
The following responsibilities for the post include, but are not exhaustive:
1. Provide an effective and efficient service to ensure all manufacturing machinery and site services are maintained both electrically and mechanically through the planned maintenance schedule.
2. Respond to breakdowns through in line with the priority system
3. Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and either complete remedial work during shift or brief subsequent shift on issue, cause and recommended solution
4. Record breakdown and task information on completion of repair or improvement using Piranha system.
5. Undertake servicing of machines and ancillary equipment as per the relevant schedules
6. Carry out facility repairs and maintenance as per the schedule or as and when required
7. Source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement system
8. Maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables reviewing and updating the register
9. Ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairs
10. Ensure 5S standards are maintained in the maintenance workshop at all times
11. Ensure all work is carried out to relevant legislation and EHS standards
12. Support the efficiency improvements through engagement of ABS methodology & deployment
13. Undertake improvement activities that enable efficiency improvements to the plant
14. Be a flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required.
15. Maintain full compliance with Howmet policies and procedures and conduct all activities in accordance with the Howmet Guide to Business Conduct.
16. Adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
17. Undertake and promote their own self development, in line with Company and personal aims.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
