Our client is a growing organisation looking to strengthen their operations team with a capable and detail focused Transport Planner. This is a great opportunity for someone with planning or logistics experience who is ready to take ownership in a fast paced, operational environment.
As a Transport Planner, you will:
* Plan and allocate daily routes for field based teams
* Coordinate workloads to ensure efficient service delivery
* Debrief teams and resolve any operational issues
* Monitor performance and adjust plans in real time
* Manage scheduling for upcoming workloads and resource allocation
* Identify and implement improvements across planning and operations
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in transport planning, logistics, or scheduling
* Strong organisational and problem solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
* Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
* Good IT skills, including Excel
* Full UK driving licence
