My client is a rapidly growing manufacturer and is looking to add an experienced Electrical Projects Engineer to lead hands-on electrical installations and compliance at their Bridgwater site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver electrical projects from design to commissioning.
* Design and install containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit, ladder).
* Install and maintain LV distribution systems, ensuring BS 7671 compliance.
* Act as site Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring EAWR compliance and electrical safety.
* Carry out hands-on tasks including cable work, terminations, and testing.
* Support fault-finding, root cause analysis, and maintenance activities.
* Keep schematics, inspections, and risk assessments up to date.
* Mentor junior electricians and promote a safe working environment.
Key Skills
* Proven electrical project experience in manufacturing or similar sectors.
* Strong knowledge of LV systems, PLCs, VSDs, and safety regulations.
* NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualified (C&G 2391 desirable).
* Practical installation and fault-finding expertise.
* Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
* Able to work independently and communicate clearly across teams.
* Committed to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
