LOCATION: Glasgow Belfast Salford Birimingham Cardiff or London Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 45000 - 52000 depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Working closely with the Business Partner Commissioning Supply Executive to manage and deliver in-person and online briefings for Radio and TV across the UK while shaping the annual briefing plan. The role also supports the administration of indie development funds for both TV and Radio provides ad hoc project management support and contributes to wider activities within the Commissioning Supply Team as required.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
Working within the Commissioning Supply team youll support Commissioning teams in delivering the annual briefing strategy agreeing plans with Genre Directors the Business Partner Commissioning Supply Exec and Head of Business Commissioning Supply. Youll lead the planning and execution of BBC Content briefings including large-scale events industry festivals (e.g. Edinburgh Television Festival) insight sessions with Audience Research and iPlayer teams and Diversity & Inclusion events.
Youll manage all logistics for in-person and online briefingsvenues contributors technical requirementsensuring compliance with Health & Safety and accessibility standards. Youll oversee your own annual budget forecast and track spend and ensure adherence to BBC expense policies.
Collaboration is key : youll work with internal and external stakeholders including Heads of Commissioning Screen Agencies and BBC partners to align briefings with BBC priorities and Ofcom commitments while staying informed on industry personnel changes.
Youll also support the Indie Support Funds process acting as first point of contact for applicants managing queries and coordinating events for selected companies. Additionally youll work with the Commissioning Website producer to align external messaging and draft communications for producers.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Experience of planning and executing briefing strategies for content within a media setting.
* Experience of working within the TV or Radio industry in a comparable role.
* Strong stakeholder management skills able to influence and persuade and to build internal and external networks.
* An understanding of production & programme making.
* Demonstrable experience of maintaining constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and providing the business with administration and management assistance in an environment of similar complexity.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
* Project management skills with an ability to improve organisational effectiveness and support a culture of continuous improvement.
