A senior leadership position reporting to the Finance Director, responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across the UK & Ireland. You’ll oversee balance sheet integrity, working capital, cash flow, tax, and payroll accounting, while partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the financial accounting team
* Ensure robust financial controls and compliance (IFRS & UK GAAP)
* Own balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance
* Oversee monthly, year-end, and statutory reporting
* Manage tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT)
* Lead internal and external audits
* Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight
* Manage external relationships (banks, auditors, regulators)
* Drive process improvements across finance
About You
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS & UK GAAP)
* Commercially aware with strong communication skills
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused
