We are currently working with a large healthcare provider in the appointment of an interim senior operations and change management professional, this individual will be focused on the improvement and development of Pharmacy Services and therefore must have experience within this specialist area.
The key focus within this role is the immediate development and improvement of the current service provision, including a rapid review of current staffing provisions and operational processes within a busy retail environment.
This individual must be able to assume responsibility for day-to-day management of the service at times, to understand the current challenges faced operationally in order to develop solutions that can be implemented rather than just recommended.
As a senior leadership figure also ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations while driving service development and team performance.

* Overall management and professional leadership of the pharmacy
* Ensuring compliance with GPhC standards and relevant legislation
* Delivering excellent patient care and clinical services
* Leading, developing, and motivating the pharmacy team
* Managing KPIs, and financial performance
Ideal Candidate
* GPhC registered Pharmacist (UK), or a senior operational/transformation professional who has worked specifically within pharmacy services change management;
* Proven experience in the leadership and management of others;
* Strong healthcare operational services management and improvement expertise;
* Confident delivering and developing change within a busy healthcare setting, within a short period of time;
* Knows what good looks like within similar services and has the ability to step back and observe, coupled with the ability to be hands on operationally to see current challenges first hand;
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to challenge poor behaviours whilst encouraging good practice and collaboration.
