The Role
Reporting into the Development Manager, you will work alongside the development chefs and technologists to deliver innovation across different product ranges for key customers.
In this varied role you’ll be developing new and existing products within a fast moving sector, anticipating customer briefs and using your creative flair to drive exciting concepts that reflect up and coming food trends. Your role will encompass all stages of innovation from idea generation and development to consumer testing, factory trials and full scale launch to market, ensuring category innovation goals are achieved according to the company’s commercial vision.
You’ll be refreshing existing ranges where you’ll develop and adapt recipes to improve taste, texture, quality and cost whilst managing suppliers to ensure budget objectives are met in line with business strategy.
