Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and service.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
* Manage food inventory, ensuring freshness and compliance with safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Develop new menu items and specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends.
* Train new staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Previous experience in high-pressure kitchen settings is advantageous.
