About the Role
We are recruiting for a full‑time Data Manager on a fixed‑term contract (12 months) based in any of the Heritage Fund’s offices in the UK, except London (hybrid working). The role supports our impact reporting for the Heritage 2033 strategy by maintaining and expanding self‑service business intelligence and reporting products, supporting data management, analysis, and visualization, and developing open data processes.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and expand the suite of self‑service business intelligence and reporting products.
* Analyze grant and survey data, and relevant external datasets to provide reliable, timely management and impact information.
* Build and update Power BI dashboards and other data visualizations.
* Support development of the organization’s open data processes, including publishing data to external grant systems.
* Manage a varied caseload of data requests across the organization.
* Collaborate with the existing Data Manager and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
* Contribute to evidence‑led decision making and support the organization’s learning agenda.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills and experience in data management, analysis, and reporting.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data manipulation and visualization.
* Project management experience, including managing external providers.
* Clear and confident communication skills.
* Highly organized, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
