Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Newbury. This role is vital in supporting our mission by ensuring our workforce is engaged and well-managed, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Provide HR support and guidance to management and staff.
* Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings and candidate screenings.
* Facilitate employee onboarding and training programs.
* Support performance management processes and employee relations initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
* Collaborate with management on HR-related projects and initiatives.
* Carry out various administrative tasks.
* Support the TUPE processes for new and outgoing contracts.
* Carry out employment DBS checks for new and existing staff.
* Advise managers and participate in disciplinary and grievance processes.
* Qualifications and Experience
* CIPD qualified
* Proven experience in human resources or related field.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
* Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks.
* Familiarity with employment legislation and best practices.
* Experience with database systems is a plus.
* A practical, flexible and 'hands-on' approach is key.
