Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School – Fareham, Hampshire Start Date: September 2025 or October 2025 | Contract Type: Full-Time Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education and ready to take on a full-time role within a vibrant school community? GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a secondary school in Fareham. This is a full-time position, starting in September 2025 or October 2025 (depending on notice periods). You will work closely with class teachers, supporting the learning and development of students, and leading small group interventions to help improve academic outcomes and classroom engagement. Your Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA): Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment Work with students in small intervention groups, providing academic and emotional support Implement learning strategies tailored to individual student needs Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture Collaborate with teaching and support staff to monitor and encourage student progress Learning Support Assistant Requirements: Prior experience working with young people or in a secondary school setting is desirable CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistant or similar is desirable A degree in Education, Psychology or a similar field.
