We’re currently recruiting for an Onboarding Calculations Consultant to join our Award Winning PRT business.
As an Onboarding Calculations Consultant, you’ll apply your expertise in Defined Benefit Pension schemes to support new and ongoing client services tasks. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes this might just be the role for you. This is a hybrid working opportunity, which means you can work between your home and the office to find a work-life balance that works for you. What you'll be doing:
1. Providing manual calculations and claims support for Defined Benefit Pension schemes
2. Drafting clear communications to members and third-party intermediaries
3. Calculating accurate quotations and ensuring compliance with benefit specifications
4. Authorising payments and updating systems for non-standard schemes
5. Acting as a technical expert and point of contact for sensitive or priority schemes
6. Setting up and maintaining scheme records and resolving anomalies
7. Following standard operating procedures and maintaining audit trails
8. Communicating key updates to internal teams and third parties
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
9. Holding a pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience
10. Understanding Defined Benefit Pension schemes and their administration
11. Demonstrating knowledge of relevant legislation including GDPR and Consumer Duty
12. Showing strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
13. Managing priorities and working effectively to tight deadlines
14. Communicating clearly and empathetically with a range of stakeholders
15. Maintaining a customer-focused approach in all interactions
16. Taking initiative to reduce risks and improve processes
