The Role We're looking for an accomplished strategic leader to own and drive our global Product and Marketing functions, overseeing a diverse portfolio that represents a major share of Coherent's worldwide revenue. In this pivotal role, you'll shape the direction of our product strategy, define market positioning, and guide a world-class team to deliver excellence across innovation, performance, and profitability. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Lead and inspire global teams of product managers, applications engineers, and product support specialists. Own full P&L responsibility across multiple product lines - setting financial targets, optimising performance, and driving sustainable growth. Define the product road-map, guiding innovation and execution from concept through to market success. Act as the face of Coherent's technology, engaging customers, representing the brand at global industry events, and aligning marketing efforts across the business. Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, operations, and manufacturing to deliver value, efficiency, and impact. Education & Experience 10 years' experience in Product Management or Business Leadership within lasers, optics, or advanced manufacturing technologies. Strong track record of leading global teams and managing complex product portfolios. Proven ability to translate strategy into results - balancing innovation with financial discipline. A degree in Physics or Engineering (postgraduate or business qualifications highly regarded). Deep understanding of market analysis, product positioning, and competitive strategy. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills - confident presenting to executive boards and customers alike Working Conditions Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment.
