Drinks Commercial Analyst
Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 + Benefits
Location: Dunstable, hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week in the office.

Our Restaurants Product and Brand team is now recruiting a Drinks Commercial Analyst who will shape our future drinks strategy by delivering a robust pricing and ranging strategy across 1,200 hotels and branded restaurants. This role is part of our growth programme to expand our Food and Beverage business.
Reporting to the Bar Platform and Development Manager, you will collaborate with teams in commercial, finance, marketing, and product development to provide detailed analysis, trend data, and performance tracking, ensuring we position our products effectively for our customers.

What you’ll do
You will be responsible for implementing and evolving our commercial drinks strategy through:
* Providing a clear view of Whitbread’s drink pricing position in the market, understanding strengths and weaknesses locally and nationally, and staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
* Implementing, measuring, and optimizing agreed drinks pricing strategies to achieve market position and sales targets while offering value to our guests.
* Tracking the success of campaigns, promotions, and trials, providing key recommendations, monitoring risks, and measuring KPI performance.
* Providing insights and analysis for range and menu decisions to ensure campaigns meet KPIs and objectives.
* Collaborating with the Drinks Implementation team to analyze data, market, and guest insights to develop effective merchandising strategies that drive growth opportunities for drink performance.
What we need
* Ideally, you have experience in a similar analyst role within the drinks industry or in merchandising, pricing, or range planning within retail, working with commercial data.
* Strong analytical and commercial skills with the ability to interpret multiple data sources and make informed recommendations to enhance our pricing and range strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders.
* Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing your workload while responding to changing priorities.
* A self-motivated individual eager to make a difference, capable of challenging and questioning to make objective recommendations.
