This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people, have strong classroom presence, and are looking for adaptable, part-time or on-call opportunities. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable due to the nature of the work.

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with work that has been set. You will manage behaviour, provide clear instructions, and maintain a positive learning environment. This role does not require planning or marking and is ideal for those considering a future career in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities
6. Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across a range of subjects
7. Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies
8. Support students with their learning and keep them engaged
9. Ensure a safe, calm, and productive learning atmosphere
10. Be adaptable to different school settings and year groups
About You
We are looking for individuals who:
11. Have previous experience working with young people (educational or non-educational settings)
12. Are confident, proactive, and able to manage a classroom
13. Are reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability
14. Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own vehicle (highly desirable)
15. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
A degree or relevant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
