We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistantwith knowledge and experience in the field paediatrics, to be part of our team supporting children and young people from 0-18 years.
Band 4 – Occupational Therapy Assistant - Full Time

* Our team works with children with a range of conditions thatimpacton their ability toparticipatein activities of daily living.
* We are based inWest Ham Lane Health Centreand work in a variety of settings such as clinics, homes, nurseries, Children’sCentresand education settings.
* Within the Specialist Children and Young Peoples’ Service (SCYPS), the OTs form an integral part of a multidisciplinary therapies team who work closely with Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dietitians, Paediatricians and Specialist Nurses. Together our mission is to make positive differences to peoples’ lives by delivering high quality services for the children and families of Newham.
* We are a warm,welcomingand supportive team of OTs and OTAs bringing life experiences from across the world. We re-group monthly for whole team meetings and enjoy four off-site team away days per year where we aim to recap, review, unwind and team-bond.You will have your own monthly supervision with anexperiencedBand 5 OT, you will be supported to work towards annual appraisal targets and update your CPD portfolio with opportunities to be involved in Service Improvement, Clinical Audit and Quality Improvement.
