Field Service Engineer – End of Line Packaging Salary up to £40,000 OTE £50,000–£80,000 We are seeking an electrically biased Field Service Engineer to support and service end of line packaging machinery across the UK. This role offers excellent earning potential through overtime, with engineers earning up to £80,000 last year. What's on Offer Basic salary up to £40,000 OTE £50,000–£80,000 Company van 11% pension contribution Overtime paid at x1.5 outside normal working hours Overtime paid at x2 on Sundays 25 days holiday bank holidays Strong factory and technical support Travel Requirements UK-wide travel Typically 2 overnight stays per week First 6 months will involve increased travel across the North West, North East, and Yorkshire Flexibility to travel is essential Daily Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to fault-find, service, and repair end of line packaging machinery Provide reactive breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance Carry out electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery Perform modifications, upgrades, and electrical improvements Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and control panels Liaise with customers and provide technical updates Complete service reports and documentation Provide remote diagnostics and technical support, with factory assistance when required About You Electrically biased Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer background Strong electrical fault-finding skills on industrial machinery Experience with packaging, automation, or manufacturing equipment (end of line preferred) Basic mechanical knowledge advantageous Comfortable with UK travel and overnight stays Professional, self-motivated, and customer-focused This is a high-earning opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking for variety, autonomy, and strong overtime potential.
