SENIOR SPECIALIST SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST- FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Location: North GlasgowSector: Neurological Rehabilitation (Brain Injury)
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
The RoleJoin a specialist interdisciplinary team delivering Speech & Language Therapy within a neurobehavioural model for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI). This is a senior position with responsibility for leading SaLT provision and managing a complex caseload.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver communication and dysphagia assessments and therapy programmes
* Develop rehabilitation goals and evidence-based care plans
* Work autonomously, potentially as the sole SaLT within the service
* Provide staff training on dysphagia management
* Lead on service development, planning, and evaluation
Requirements
* HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist (essential)
* Experience with acquired brain injury and complex needs
* Strong knowledge of dysphagia management
* Understanding of neurobehavioural approaches
* Ability to work independently and maintain high clinical standards
