Year 4 Teacher – Northumberland (Cramlington area)

Milk Education is working closely with a friendly primary school in the Cramlington area of Northumberland to recruit a committed Year 4 Teacher. This school provides a supportive setting where children are encouraged to grow in confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

The Role

1. Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

2. Start Date: January ASAP

3. Contract: Long-term position

Key Responsibilities

4. Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum

5. Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development

6. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

7. Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

8. Manage classroom behaviour with consistency and care

9. Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupil outcomes

What We’re Looking For

10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS

11. Secure knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2

12. Strong communication skills and effective classroom management

13. A flexible and reflective approach to teaching

14. A clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
