Job Title: Retail Media Executive - Secondment

JOB PURPOSE
You will be executing onsite media (Search & Display) and retailer-partnered offsite (paid social, BVOD, DOOH) campaigns with our key retailers. You'll be customer facing with our strategic retailers and their media agencies, working closely with Mindshare and collaborating with Brand, DMC, Shopper & Commercial teams. This role will deliver personalisation at scale through on and offsite media campaigns, executing brilliantly for Unilever brands. You'll also be working directly with our customers to build and nurture retail media partnerships, ensuring the shopper journey is consistent and connected.
The retail media landscape is fast evolving so you'll need to keep up with the latest technology, be curious and inquisitive, and feel comfortable analysing and interpreting data. You'll be responsible for planning, activating and reviewing campaigns, plus owning the optimisations and performance reporting with Mindshare and retailers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan and execute always-on onsite campaigns (across display and search)
* Plan and execute offsite campaigns via Retail Media Networks
* Build campaign briefs with defined audiences, KPIs and clear campaign objective
* Lead asset creation process from briefing to final sign-off for each brand
* Manage budget process from forecasting in myBMI to raising POs and tracking spend
* Own DDM post campaign analysis (PCAs) with retailers and share DDM and onsite search performance with CAMs, Shopper, DMC & Brand
* Support paid search activation
* Lead media best practices, ensuring Unilever media standards are implemented and tracked for all retailer DDM campaigns
* Synthesise DDM campaign learnings to continuously improve our DDM performance
* Upskill the broader business on DDM and retail media
ALL ABOUT YOU
* Retail Media experience: knowledge of Retail Media Networks
* Customer facing experience: working with customers and/or their media agencies across growing and complex media landscape
* Media agency management: experience briefing and managing the campaign process with agency
* Ideal experience: Media, Shopper, Commercial, Digital
* Retail Media experience: knowledge of Retail Media Networks e.g. Criteo, Citrus
* Project management with experience working in cross functional teams with multiple stakeholders (internally & externally).
* Stakeholder management with proven ability to build and develop relationships, preferably with customers or agencies.
* Excellent Communication with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and good attention to detail.
* Reliable and Accountable – takes pride in their work and strives for excellence.
* Business Acumen- able to evaluate media investments through a commercial lens.

Location
In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London. This site will house some employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars together with colleagues who are currently located in Lever House in Kingston. We are excited to be creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment. The campus is due to be completed in 2026.
