Nestled in the heart of Buckingham, this prestigious independent school Stowe School caters for up to 1,000 pupils, serving 3,000 meals a day as well as core-feeding. Additionally, we cater for our boarders and staff, providing breakfast, lunch, supper, and extensive hospitality services. Stowe School operates 7 days a week, but you will work 5 days over 7, with a well-organized schedule to help maintain a positive work-life balance.

Job Description
As a Head Chef, your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop strong relationships and provide excellent customer service.
You should have excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills, a passion for food & service, and enthusiasm.
* Craft imaginative and nutritionally balanced menus catering to diverse tastes, dietary preferences, and nutritional needs of students.
* Lead a dynamic kitchen team by example, fostering creativity, collaboration, and efficiency.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
* Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
* Experience managing, training, and supporting a team.
* Financial acumen, including creating and maintaining budgets and driving performance.
* Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
* Meticulous organization and high attention to detail.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset.
