Welder Fabricator required with experience in MIG welding; fabricating custom steel components and pipework from simplified drawings with a focus on precision, quality and structural integrity. If you can TIG weld stainless this is a bonus for future projects (but NOT essential)
Pay rate/ salary: £15.50ph (£33,852)
Working hours: 6.30am to 4.00pm Mon to Thursdays, early 12.30pm Friday finish!
42 standard hours. Overtime T+1/2 Fridays available.
Key Responsibilities as Welder Fabricator:
* MIG Weld and fabricate components including box sections, cubes and angled assemblies (typically 90° and 45°)
* Interpret simplified technical drawings provided by supervisors, ensuring accurate dimensional execution
* Previous experience performing MIG welding on mild steel pipework is essential to be considered
* As Welder Fabricator you will be able assemble and weld complex structures with tight tolerances and clean finishes
* Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to ensure fabrication aligns with project specs
* Maintain high standards of quality assurance, safety and compliance throughout all stages
Skills of MIG TIG Welder Fabricator:
*Proficient in MIG welding techniques for pipework and structural steel
*Skilled in working from engineering drawings and visual breakdowns
*Familiar with manual fabrication tools: grinders, saws, other forming equipment
*Strong understanding of angles, measurements and geometric layouts
*Prior experience MIG welding of carbon and steel products ranging in size
Welder Fabricator pay rate/ salary: £15.50 h (£33,852 basic without overtime)
