About the Role
Ryman Healthcare has multiple Caregiver positions available to join our friendly team atAnthony Wilding Retirement Village inAidanfield,Christchurch.
You must meet one of these requirements:
* A Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent and 3 years relevant experience OR
* A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent
Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which may include a weekend day and the wage will be $27.88 - $30.40 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse
* Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident's status or behaviour
* Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times
* Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support
* Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner
