The Role
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Religious Education Teacher to work full-time at a secondary school in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RE specialist to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and make a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
2. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, reflection, and respectful discussion
3. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
4. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
5. Contribute positively to the wider Humanities / RE department
6. Support the school's ethos and commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
8. Experience teaching Religious Education in UK secondary schools
9. Strong subject knowledge and passion for RE
10. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
11. Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities
12. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
