About The Role
As Pastoral Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the emotional climate of the school—ensuring every young person is supported with dignity, respect, and care. You’ll be the steady, reassuring presence students turn to during moments of challenge, and you’ll guide staff in creating supportive strategies that promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and full participation in learning. Your work will blend direct support for pupils with strategic oversight, helping shape long-term plans for each young person’s wellbeing and development.

* Provide direct support to students experiencing crisis or requiring additional care throughout the school day
* Work closely with teachers to promote effective support approaches that enable students to remain engaged in learning

* Champion safeguarding, dignity, and equality—challenging any practice that falls short of our values
Who We’re Looking For
* Calm, confident, and compassionate under pressure
* Passionate about improving the lives of children with diverse needs
* A strong communicator who can influence and guide others
* Highly organised with a natural ability to lead and support teams
* Committed to embedding the school’s values in everything they do
