What the Job Involves As the HR & OD Manager, you will provide expert HR advice and manage HR services for the Council, deputising for the Corporate Head of Communications, HR & OD when necessary. You will lead and manage a team of HR Business Partners to deliver professional HR services, focus on safeguarding, and handle complex HR cases. Your responsibilities will include developing an annual Training Plan, managing the Learning and Development budget, guiding managers on HR issues, and participating in corporate HR projects. You will be expected to keep abreast of developments in employment law and ensure best practices in HR service delivery.
