Finance Assistant - Shipley - Study support - £27,000 to £32,000
A brilliant opportunity for a talented Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing and innovative service company based in Shipley. This role offers the opportunity for you to gain valuable analytical and reporting experience whilst working as part of a dynamic and high performing finance team.
The Job
Full responsibility and maintenance of the purchase ledger processing a small number of monthly invoices
* Bank reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparing monthly underwriting
* Regular reporting and month‑end accounts including variance analysis and journal postings
* Accruals & prepayments
* Cash flow analysis, reviewing and keeping management abreast of cash movement (Desirable)
* Overseeing of fixed asset register
* Ad hoc reporting on Excel
* Analysis of revenue and costs
The successful candidate will be:
* Analytical
* Relevant experience within a finance role
* Driven and motivated
* Bright and personable with good communication skills
* Ideally have experience of multiple entities
* Strong communication skills – able to build relationships and work collaboratively
* Organised and able to work accurately
* Professional and engaging
