The RSC is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our vibrant Catering team in Stratford-upon-Avon.
In this exciting role, you will help ensure the smooth running of our Cafes, Bars, Rooftop Restaurant, and staff dining room. You will be serving food and drinks, supporting daily operations, and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests.
This is a variable hour's contract, so we are looking for flexibility to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Reporting to the Catering Manager, key areas of responsibility include:
* Work collaboratively with the Catering Supervisors and Managers in the delivery of leading food and beverage offer across all catering areas on site.
* Always ensure that the departments are presented in a style appropriate to the service.
* Greet and welcome all customers in a consistently warm and enthusiastic manner.
* Have detailed knowledge of all food and drinks on the menu.
* Take responsibility for all food and drinks ordered, ensuring that the style of service is friendly, efficient, and informal.
* Always ensure the correct presentation of the catering areas and ad hoc function spaces in line with agreed standards.
* Always follow Company Health & Safety guideline

* Be understanding of relevant H&S legislation
* The ability to operate a till and process card payments

This role is a fixed-term, variable hours contract for 4 months and is based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
