SEN Support Staff – Morpeth
We are currently recruiting SEN Support Staff to work in a specialist school in the Morpeth area. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD and SEMH.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN
Support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
Assist with behaviour support in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff
Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and social skillsCandidate Requirements:
Experience working with SEN, ASD, or SEMH (preferred but not essential)
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for supporting children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications (Teaching Assistant / Support Worker) desirableWhat We Offer:
