About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef for our Papa John’s kitchen.
Responsibilities
* Support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 10.
* Ensure guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions.
* Plan resources, recruit and select staff, and maintain a high‑standard team.
* Develop and monitor action plans for continuous improvement.
* Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specifications.
* Ensure food hygiene standards, health and safety compliance aligned with legislation and company policies.
* Manage margins, control costs and oversee all health, safety and hygiene aspects.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification (must be passed).
* Experience in a similar level kitchen role.
* Confidence leading a team in a fast‑paced, busy kitchen environment.
* Previous experience at Papa John’s and ROC/AROC qualification desirable but not essential.
