A growing consultancy in Nottingham is seeking a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to take a key role in delivering high-quality projects while helping shape the future of the business. This Senior / Principal Civil Engineer position offers close collaboration with the Civils Director, combining hands-on project leadership with real influence over team growth and direction.
The successful Senior / Principal Civil Engineer will lead the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes across infrastructure, flood risk, transportation and site development, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards. The role also involves managing client and stakeholder relationships, overseeing technical outputs, supporting bids and tenders, and mentoring junior engineers within a collaborative environment.
Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering and ideally be Chartered, or working towards Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers. Strong technical expertise, leadership capability and a proactive, solution-focused approach are essential.
