Job Summary

As a Park Ranger, you will play a vital role in preserving and protecting natural resources while providing an exceptional experience for visitors. Your responsibilities will encompass managing park operations, ensuring guest safety, and promoting environmental education. This position requires a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality to all park guests.

Duties

* Oversee daily operations within the park, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and environmental policies.
* Conduct guided tours and educational programmes to enhance visitor understanding of the park's natural and cultural heritage.
* Provide excellent guest services by addressing visitor inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
* Monitor wildlife and natural resources, reporting any concerns or irregularities to appropriate authorities.
* Collaborate with local communities and organisations to promote conservation efforts and community engagement initiatives.
* Maintain park facilities, including trails, restrooms, and visitor centres, ensuring they are clean and well-organised.
* Assist in the development of park management plans and contribute to conservation strategies.

Skills

* Strong management skills to effectively oversee park operations and coordinate staff activities.
* Excellent hospitality skills to create a positive experience for all visitors, fostering a welcoming environment.
* Proficient in guest services with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences.
* Knowledge of environmental conservation practices and principles is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor conditions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £18,502.38-£31,851.21 per year
