Overview
Head of Talent Acquisition at ScottishPower – This area covers domestic sales channels with growth plans and requires an Area Sales and Development Manager (ASDM) to deploy and coordinate sales training, compliance activities, budget control and reporting in domestic sales channels. The role is home based with occasional office attendance and travel.
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate and deploy sales activities, budget control and reporting in domestic sales channels
* Roll out the operating plan with Business to Business / Channel Development Managers; prioritise strategies to develop the business and achieve domestic channel and departmental goals
* Review performance regularly, account manage and maintain relationships with sales partners
* Challenge when targets are not met and implement remedial action
* Ensure all partner visits comply with channel requirements
* Support acquisition and retention of customers in collaboration with Marketing through proactive strategies to engage customers and encourage long-term loyalty to ScottishPower
* Travel to meet internal and external stakeholders; manage time and competing priorities while meeting stakeholder expectations

* Relationship management skills and the ability to engage internal resources and external third parties
* Ability to understand complexity quickly and make confident, clear decisions
* Self-starter who can work independently in a complex, demanding, and challenging role
* Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders with differing interests
* High level of tact and diplomacy in written and oral communication to credibly present ScottishPower’s position
* Strong understanding of the Energy marketplace and its commercial value
* Ability to prioritise work and deliver results while managing multiple stakeholders in a changing environment
* Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
* Line management experience in a Sales or project management role
* Background in compliance and regulation
Minimum Criteria
* Good verbal and written skills
* Strong influencing and stakeholder management ability
* Highly numerate and analytical
* Sales-focused with a strong understanding of customer engagement
* Experience in a Sales/Service role
* Driving license preferred due to occasional travel but not essential
