Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in Forensic Science and T Level Health courses. This role focuses on core Biology and Chemistry (non-A Level) at Level 3, offering students practical and theoretical knowledge aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Forensic Science, incorporating core Biology and Chemistry content.
* Teach Level 3 Biology for T Level Health students, ensuring curriculum standards and learner progression.
* Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments tailored to course requirements.
* Support students’ learning, progress, and achievement, providing feedback and guidance.
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of course delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
* Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Delivery Areas:
* Forensic Science (core Biology & Chemistry, non-A Level)
* T Level Health (primarily Level 3 Biology, non-A Level)
Person Specification:
* Relevant qualifications in Biology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, or related scientific fields.
* Experience teaching post-16 learners in vocational or technical science subjects.
* Ability to deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
