About the Role
Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to be working with a leading client who is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This maternity cover role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a combination of office-based and flexible home working.
As the Finance Manager, you will lead a team in providing management accounting and business partnering support across the UK&I businesses, ensuring that financial controls are met and providing valuable commercial insights to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the banking function and manage the end-to-end company credit card process, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
* Provide business partnering support, offering commercial assistance to various UK&I businesses, helping them to achieve financial goals.
* Oversee the production of monthly SG&A accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring resource allocation supports business objectives.
* Manage the National Statistics process, ensuring accurate reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee Month-End Compliance processes, including balance sheet reconciliation reviews and ensuring that minimum financial controls are maintained.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring effective performance management, recruitment, coaching, and support for team members.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional environment, actively promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the team.
* Ensure robust documentation of accounting policies and processes to maintain strong internal controls.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, or actively working towards qualification.
* Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills.
* Proven experience in management accounting, financial control, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong customer service focus and a collaborative approach to team leadership and support.
* Ability to solve complex accounting issues while considering the wider business impact and identifying process improvement opportunities.
* A solid understanding of financial controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
* Experience managing and leading a finance team, with a focus on recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
* Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA would be an advantage.
